CHIROPRACTIC
Chiropractor Services
Chiropractors use the best available evidence and clinical expertise to diagnose issues that affect your body’s movement. They treat them with hands-on spinal manipulation and without medication or surgery to help prevent them from returning. Chiropractic care can also promote health and improve your quality of life, as well as, alleviate pain.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a therapeutic method involving the insertion of fine needles. Acupuncture helps the body stimulate the production of pain and stress relieving chemicals. Acupuncture helps to stimulate nerve fibres to block out pain signals and helps to reduce the sensitivity of tender points in the body. This can be used to treat things like migraines, muscles aches and pains, etc.
Orthotics
Orthotics provide a range of bracing needs. Orthotic devices are designed to help improve skeletal instability or misalignments due to various weaknesses or pain from injury. *We also have compression stockings*
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy sends soundwave pulses through the skin to the injured area. This helps to promote your body to send more blood and nutrients to the injured area speeding up the healing time naturally. Shockwave therapy can help treat things like plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, shin splints, tendonitis, shoulder pain, stress fractures, muscle and connective tissue injuries, etc.
Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology Taping is a therapeutic tool used to support and relieve pain in muscles, joints, and/or ligaments. It reduces swelling, increases mobility and enhances recovery.
Cupping
A therapeutic cupping treatment involves placing warm cups to an area of skin to form a vacuum seal. This vacuum seal promotes blood flow to the area which enhances circulation, decompresses the muscles and connective tissues thereby increasing the body’s own healing process.
